Want to file an 8-K quickly and inexpensively? Upload your Word Doc and file it.
As low as $99 US after discounts from the base fee of $129. That’s it. We are automated, so why should we charge more?
We stand behind the quality of our service. If your filing was not successful or on time, or you are not satisfied in any way, you may request a credit using the "Contact Us" form within 30 days of filing. Our policy is to grant full credit that may be used for a future filing.
Prepare your 8-K as you normally do in Microsoft Word; press the Upload button; press the Submit button. You’re all done, usually in less than a minute.
When you are registered with 8Kwiz.com there is nothing else to do. Registration is not required, however. We respect your privacy. You can file your 8-K by telling us just the basics: CIK, CCC, and your payment preference. We take care of the rest.
8Kwiz uses its exclusive 1-2-3-File technology to turn your Word Doc into HTML format ready for the SEC to accept. 8Kwiz looks for exhibits, items, and other key information. You get an opportunity to review the individual pieces and preview the whole submission prior to filing. Often the filed version looks even better than the original. You can make changes, add, or remove information quickly and easily.
Yes, and even anonymously. 8Kwiz.com will let you test file your 8-K and view the SEC confirmation without you ever telling us who you are and without any payment information. That’s our way of building your confidence in us.
8Kwiz employs state-of-the art security with authentication and SSL 128-bit encryption. All filings are through a direct connection to the SEC, unique to your filing. Unless you request it, there are no emails. All confidential information is erased securely unless you specifically request us to retain it.
It’s automated. No emails, no phone calls, no faxes. That’s all part of our exclusive technology. If you like to fine tune, we give you a number of options for automation, a chance to make your own changes, and if you insist, we also have a human Edgarizing staff to assist (but they charge a human Edgarizing fee).
The CIK and CCC codes are used to make submissions to the SEC. You may test file without these codes; we will ask for these codes, however, before we can file for real. Click if you need codes.
CIK (Central Index Key): The CIK is a public number that is uniquely assigned to each entity that submits filings to the SEC. Each company filing will have its own CIK.
CCC (CIK Confirmation Code) The CCC is a kind of password used in combination with the CIK to submit a filing via EDGAR. It is not a public number and must be kept secure.
Also called Edgarization: this is the process of converting the documents that look good to you into a format that SEC EDGAR will accept. EDGAR accepts two formats, text and HTML. 8Kwiz turns your documents into HTML format before filing. It’s automated, but you have a chance to see it and make changes before filing.
No. Even if you want to make changes, 8Kwiz allows you to edit your filing without even seeing the HTML.
When true fine tuning is critical and you are HTML capable, we give you access to make changes to the actual HTML before filing.
A way to make sure everything works without letting the public know about it.
Here's what you accomplish when you push the "Test Submit" button:
- EDGAR validates your documents and informs you that they are error free
- Your filing codes are verified (CIK/CCC)
- The SEC tells you that you are filing for the right company
- You know that 8Kwiz.com will get the job done
If you want to see the SEC's detailed reply, verify that your email is entered on the Company Info page.
